Dressing room videos emerged of the Liverpool legend letting himself go after Gers had all about secured the Premiership title in 2021

Former Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has revealed that he intervened to prevent a stadium security guard from being fired following a leaked dressing room video in 2021. The footage, which circulated on social media, showed Gerrard sliding across the floor during celebrations after a 3-0 win over St Mirren that virtually secured the club's 55th league championship.
Speaking on the Open Goal podcast alongside Andy Halliday, Gerrard explained that club officials were furious after an internal investigation identified the security guard as the source of the leak. Gerrard stepped in to defuse the anger, urging chiefs to dismiss the issue and ensuring the worker kept his job.
