Heavyweight contender Filip Hrgovic has called for Anthony Joshua to retire from boxing following his upcoming bout against Tyson Fury. Speaking to The Stomping Ground, Hrgovic argued that Joshua's frequent trainer changes reflect underlying issues with self-confidence rather than tactical coaching problems, suggesting Joshua may be taking the fight largely for financial reasons.
Joshua is working with trainer Ben Davison to prepare for the clash with Fury. Hrgovic stated that Joshua possesses only a puncher's chance, noting that tactical preparation cannot compensate for hesitation inside the ring against an elite opponent.
