It is not very usual for Google to add easter eggs to baseball players until they are legends. But for our $34 million White Sox star, it has come early. Munetaka Murakami’s unhinged celebration after the White Sox made it…

Google has added a custom reference to Chicago White Sox rookie Munetaka Murakami's search results following his viral locker room celebrations. When users search Murakami's name, Google displays a reference to his "One Hundred!" celebration. The moment occurred after the White Sox clinched their first postseason berth since 2021 with a 9-1 victory against the Kansas City Royals.
Murakami also paid homage to former MLB player Munenori Kawasaki during the celebrations by shouting "I AM JAPANESE!" on camera. The 26-year-old followed up his viral antics on the field by hitting a 440-foot, two-run home run off Parker Messick in Game 1 of the ALDS against Cleveland.
