Munetaka Murakami turned heads during and after the Chicago White Sox’s 3-0 victory over the Cleveland Guardians on Saturday at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio.
Munetaka Murakami amused his interpreter during a postgame press conference after the Chicago White Sox defeated the Cleveland Guardians 3-0 on Saturday. Asked how he felt after hitting his home run, Murakami gave a response translated as feeling "something a little bit dirty" when turning toward the dugout.
The 26-year-old slugger hit a pivotal two-run, 440-foot home run off Guardians starter Parker Messick in the fourth inning. The victory gave Chicago a 1-0 lead in the American League Division Series at Progressive Field.
