While India were found four overs short in New Chandigarh, West Indies were deemed to be two short

India and West Indies have both been fined for slow over-rates during the third ODI in New Chandigarh on Saturday. After considering time allowances, India were determined to be four overs short of the required rate and were fined 20% of their match fee. West Indies were ruled two overs short and received a 10% match fee deduction.
West Indies won the final match by five wickets, chasing down a target of 352 behind captain Shai Hope's unbeaten 162. Despite the defeat, India won the series 2-1, with Indian captain Shubman Gill leading all series run-scorers with 334 runs. The two teams next compete in a five-match T20I series beginning in Lucknow.
