Teams Already Circling On Edvinsson Trade, One Eastern Club Reportedly Leading the Pack

The Philadelphia Flyers are reportedly among the early teams circling for a potential trade for Detroit Red Wings defenseman Simon Edvinsson. According to insider Elliotte Friedman, the Red Wings have begun exploring the market for the unsigned 23-year-old blueliner, who is reportedly frustrated with prolonged contract negotiations and prefers a move elsewhere.

While the Seattle Kraken are also reportedly monitoring the situation, no trade offer has been tabled and a deal is not considered imminent. The Red Wings are expected to demand a high return, though reports suggest the team still believes a contract extension with Edvinsson remains possible.
