Internationally capped quicks Tayla Vlaeminck and Lucy Hamilton named for annual Governor-General's XI match in Sydney

Nicole Faltum has been selected to captain the Governor-General's XI in an upcoming T20 fixture against New Zealand at North Sydney Oval on October 15. The 13-player squad features internationally capped fast bowlers Lucy Hamilton and Tayla Vlaeminck, alongside Charli Knott as vice-captain. Hamilton makes her return to competitive action after recovering from a quad injury that sidelined her from the ODI series against Bangladesh.
The roster combines rising domestic talent and experienced players, including six members of the recent Australia A squad and Lieutenant Meera Hyderabad from the Australian Defence Force. The match marks the beginning of a new era for New Zealand's White Ferns under captain Amelia Kerr, following several high-profile retirements.
