CELTIC hero Moussa Dembele has lifted the lid on his controversial Hoops exit and the Twitter spat with former boss Brendan Rodgers which surrounded it. And he's revealed that the two men exchanged words as recently as a fortnight ago…

Former Celtic forward Moussa Dembele has reflected on his contentious departure from the club in 2018 and confirmed he has made peace with former manager Brendan Rodgers. Speaking to the Daily Record, Dembele revealed that the pair recently spoke after Dembele's Al-Ettifaq side played out a 2-2 draw with Rodgers's Al Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League, where Rodgers wished him luck for the season.
Dembele admitted that the bitter exit, which included a public social media clash regarding broken promises before his £19.7 million move to Lyon, remains a regret. However, the striker emphasized that their past disagreements are resolved, praising Rodgers as a fantastic manager who played a massive role in developing his career.
