Cardiff City defender Krystian Bielik has received a two-match ban and a £10,000 fine from the Football Association for misconduct. The punishment follows an incident during Cardiff's 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth in September, where the 28-year-old admitted to acting in an improper manner after appearing to grab a young Portsmouth fan by the neck while retrieving the ball.
The altercation took place around the 71st minute at Fratton Park, prompting the supporter to slap Bielik before being escorted away by stewards. Due to the suspension, Bielik will miss Cardiff's matches against Blackburn and Watford, while both police and Portsmouth continue investigations into the incident.
