Barcelona midfielder could receive a standing ovation from Croatian supporters after revealing his long-standing commitment to helping Vukovar

Croatian supporters are reportedly planning to give Spain and Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo a standing ovation at Poljud Stadium in Split. Despite playing for the opposing national team, Olmo maintains strong ties to Croatia, where he spent six formative years playing for Dinamo Zagreb before moving to RB Leipzig and Barcelona.
The planned tribute follows revelations from his agent, Andy Bara, confirming Olmo has donated two percent of his yearly gross salary to Vukovar since 2020. Olmo, who also supports initiatives in Slavonski Brod, stated that he remains indebted to the country for shaping his personal and professional career.
