The New York Mets have parted ways with multiple coaching staff members following a last-place finish in the NL East. Director of hitting Jeff Albert, quality assurance coach Danny Barnes, and batting practice pitcher Kevin Mahoney will not return for the 2027 season as the team initiates an overhaul after winning just 74 games.
