The Warriors faced a cloud of uncertainty ahead of Tuesday night’s preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers and the subsequent contest against the Trail Blazers.
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr expressed growing concern regarding center Kristaps Porzingis, who remains sidelined indefinitely with an undisclosed health issue. Speaking ahead of a preseason contest against the Los Angeles Lakers, Kerr revealed that he has not yet seen Porzingis in person since the team returned from training camp in Hawaii.
Porzingis missed training camp to undergo medical evaluations, leaving his availability for the upcoming regular season uncertain. The 7-foot-2 big man signed a two-year, $40 million extension during the offseason, and Golden State has turned to Al Horford in scrimmages while prioritizing Porzingis' recovery.
