Yaxel Lendeborg and Brandin Podziemski bounced back on Tuesday night, showing how they could ease Stephen Curry’s burden for the Golden State Warriors.

Yaxel Lendeborg and Brandin Podziemski rebounded from poor preseason openers by combining for 33 points against a depleted Los Angeles Lakers squad. Rookie forward Lendeborg led all scorers with 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while guard Podziemski added 16 points in 19 minutes.
After seeking advice from veterans Steph Curry and Draymond Green following his debut, Lendeborg showed strong offensive aggression and saw minutes at center under head coach Steve Kerr. Podziemski also displayed increased perimeter shooting and rim penetration, though both key contributors will rest during Golden State's upcoming exhibition game in Portland.
