Yaxel Lendeborg wastes no time proving Warriors hype was justified

Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg delivered a standout performance in Tuesday night's 124-98 preseason win over the Los Angeles Lakers. The 11th overall draft pick recorded 17 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and a block after head coach Steve Kerr urged him to show more aggression on the court.

Peter O'Keefe of Blue Man Hoop argues that Lendeborg's versatility makes him crucial to the team immediately, especially with Jimmy Butler sidelined until January and Kristaps Porzingis dealing with illness. O'Keefe suggests the rookie must take on significant offensive and defensive roles to keep Golden State competitive early in the season.
