Joe Worrall believes Wrexham have the foundations in place to continue their rise but the centre-back says success in the Championship will take time.
Wrexham centre-back Joe Worrall has urged patience regarding the club's ambitions, stating that achieving success in the Championship will take time. The 29-year-old defender, who joined the Reds from Burnley in the summer transfer window, emphasized that while the club possesses strong foundations for a potential future rise to the Premier League, progress will not happen overnight amid evolving squad changes.
Worrall highlighted that he quickly settled at The Racecourse due to the welcoming environment established by manager Phil Parkinson and his staff. Having previously earned promotion from the Championship with Nottingham Forest and Burnley, Worrall noted that he aims to bring calmness and vital second-tier experience to the squad.
