Guardians News: Espino and NL recaps

Cleveland Guardians pitching prospect Daniel Espino is scheduled to face Sean Newcomb in Game 3 of the American League Division Series. Meanwhile, National League postseason action saw the Los Angeles Dodgers defeat the Atlanta Braves 3-1, with Freddie Freeman and Enrique Hernandez hitting home runs behind pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto.

In the other NL matchup, the San Diego Padres avoided elimination by securing a 4-3 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers to force Game 4. Michael King recorded a two-inning save for San Diego, pitching in place of Mason Miller, who was away for the birth of his child.
