Everton Women are looking to bounce back from defeat at Liverpool as they host Birmingam City at Goodison Park on Sunday

Everton Women head coach Scott Phelan insists his squad remains in good spirits despite suffering a 2-0 Merseyside Derby loss to Liverpool at Anfield. The defeat marked Everton's third consecutive derby loss under Phelan, but the manager stated that his players reflected on the result and quickly shifted focus to their upcoming clash against Birmingham City.
Everton previously defeated Birmingham City 2-0 in the Women's Players Cup, with goals from Zara Kramzar and Yuka Momiki. While Momiki's strike against West Ham United remains the team's only league goal this season, Phelan emphasized that Everton's attacking output is an area being worked on rather than an immediate concern.
