The Milwaukee Bucks have signed second-year center Johni Broome to their preseason roster after he was recently waived by the Los Angeles Clippers. The deal gives the 24-year-old former Auburn standout another opportunity following an injury-shortened rookie season split between Philadelphia and the G League.
Milwaukee's contract with Broome is widely expected to be non-guaranteed, allowing for potential conversion to a two-way deal or an assignment with the Wisconsin Herd. To create roster space, the Bucks waived big man John Butler Jr.
