Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was a full participant in practice Wednesday, another step toward his return from a left elbow injury.
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, positioning himself to return against the New York Giants. Head coach Dan Quinn stated that the plan is for Daniels to start on Sunday barring any setbacks from his left elbow injury. Daniels suffered the injury to his non-throwing arm in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Daniels practiced with a protective brace on his left elbow and confirmed he plans to wear it during Sunday's game. Washington turned to Daniels after quarterback Marcus Mariota suffered a sprained knee against the Indianapolis Colts. Daniels enters the Week 5 matchup holding an undefeated 3-0 career record against the Giants.
