Wizards at Knicks preview: Washington plays New York to start preseason

The Washington Wizards will open their NBA preseason schedule against the New York Knicks on Thursday, October 8, at Madison Square Garden. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET, with the broadcast available on Monumental Sports Network.

Washington will be missing Jamir Watkins and Tristan Vukcevic due to injuries. The Knicks enter the contest following a 120-97 preseason loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, with writer Albert Lee noting the focus will be on player rotations.
