Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn and quarterback Jayden Daniels emphasized that tight end Chig Okonkwo remains an important part of the offense despite recent limited involvement. Both noted that while tight ends will receive targets, the offense will not force throws to them when opposing defenses focus on their coverage.
Quinn explained that injuries had disrupted the connection between Daniels and Okonkwo, but praised their training camp chemistry and expects their on-field involvement to trend upward.
