A pair of goals from Kyle Connor, including the game-winning goal with one minute left in regulation, propelled the Winnipeg Jets to a 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche Wednesday night at Canada Life Centre.
Kyle Connor scored two goals, including the game-winner with one minute remaining in regulation, to lead the Winnipeg Jets to a 3-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche at Canada Life Centre. Cole Perfetti also scored for Winnipeg, while Jaden Schwartz and Fedor Svechkov tallied goals for the Avalanche in the back-and-forth contest.
Jets goaltender Stuart Skinner stopped 32 of 34 shots to secure the win despite Colorado outshooting Winnipeg early on. The Jets suffered an injury setback when defenseman Josh Morrissey exited the game in the first period with an upper-body injury, prompting Dylan Samberg to log 25:25 of ice time and contribute two assists in his absence.
