South Australia's batters have put their state in a powerful position against Victoria in the Sheffield Shield

South Australia reached 6-352 at stumps on day two of their Sheffield Shield clash at Junction Oval, establishing a 108-run lead over Victoria. Captain Ben Manenti led the charge with an unbeaten 92, supported by Jake Lehmann's 90 and Henry Hunt's 71. Debutant Harry Hoekstra provided Victoria's main resistance, taking 4-57 to slow the visitors' progress.
Victoria had earlier posted 244 in their first innings before South Australia recovered from losing Jake Weatherald to concussion. Manenti and Noah McFadyen shared an unbeaten 90-run partnership late in the day to solidify South Australia's commanding position.
