The Seattle Kraken announced on Thursday that defenseman Ryan Lindgren has been placed on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury. The 28-year-old blueliner is expected to miss approximately 4 to 6 weeks, which will keep him sidelined well into November.
Lindgren suffered the injury after being hit hard from behind by Vegas Golden Knights forward Marc Gatcomb just 15 seconds into Tuesday's game. Lindgren played the remainder of the first period before leaving the contest. He had appeared in all four of Seattle's games this season.
