The towerting centre back has hit the ground running at Ibrox since his summer arrival from Philadelphia Union

Rangers defender Olwethu Makhanya credited his move to Ibrox for sharpening his mindset, stating he has developed into a stronger mental performer under manager Derek McInnes. The 22-year-old center-back signed from Philadelphia Union in the summer and earned the SPFL Player of the Month award for September following standout performances in two Old Firm victories over Celtic.
Makhanya emphasized that handling pressure is a privilege at a major club as Rangers prepare to face Kilmarnock. His strong domestic form has also solidified his international role, featuring in three victories for South Africa during the recent international break.
