Shai Hope struck a century as West Indies completed their highest successful chase in T20 internationals, overhauling a target of 250 to beat India by six wickets in Ranchi and level the five-match series at 1-1.

Shai Hope struck an unbeaten 102 from 45 balls to lead West Indies to a record six-wicket victory over India in Ranchi. Chasing a target of 250, West Indies reached 252-4 with nine balls remaining, leveling the five-match T20 international series at 1-1. The result marked the team's highest successful run chase in T20I history and the second-highest chase overall in men's T20Is.
After falling to 5-2 early against Mayank Yadav, Hope and Sherfane Rutherford mounted a crucial 120-run partnership. Rutherford scored 84 off 37 deliveries before Romario Shepherd helped Hope finish the chase. Earlier, India posted 249-5, led by Sanju Samson's 82 off 41 balls alongside late contributions from Shreyas Iyer and Tilak Varma.
