There was good news and potentially bad news for the San Francisco 49ers on Friday as the team held its final practice ahead of Sunday's Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mike Evans returned to practice on Friday ahead of the team's Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Evans had previously worked on the side while managing a rib injury. However, cornerback Upton Stout missed Friday's session due to a shoulder sprain, leaving his status for Sunday uncertain after head coach Kyle Shanahan noted the team is unsure if he will be able to play.
Several other players missed practice and are not expected to face Seattle, including Nick Bosa, James Thompson Jr., Marques Sigle, and Kyle Juszczyk. Defensive end Mykel Williams practiced and is expected to be activated from the PUP list on Saturday following the release of defensive lineman Ogbo Okoronkwo.
