The Los Angeles Kings have officially recalled forward Jared Wright from the AHL's Ontario Reign. The 23-year-old winger's promotion comes as veteran forward Mats Zuccarello has been ruled out of Saturday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights due to an undisclosed injury. Zuccarello, who previously dealt with a minor shoulder injury in training camp, is not expected to travel with the team to Las Vegas.
Wright steps into an injury replacement role after appearing in 23 games for Los Angeles during the 2025-26 season, where he recorded four assists. Before his call-up, Wright started the 2026-27 AHL season strongly with the Ontario Reign, tallying two goals and three points across his first two games.
