Defenseman Mathew Dumba has officially announced his retirement from professional hockey after 13 NHL seasons, according to the NHLPA. Originally selected seventh overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 2012 NHL Draft, Dumba spent the majority of his career in Minnesota before later stints with the Arizona Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning, Dallas Stars, and Pittsburgh Penguins.

Throughout his 748 career regular-season NHL games, Dumba recorded 85 goals and 261 points. His most productive campaign came during the 2017-18 season with the Wild, when he tallied 14 goals and 50 points in 82 games.
