Cam Talbot set an NHL record by becoming the first goaltender to win a game with nine different franchises. Talbot made 20 saves and stopped all three shootout attempts to guide the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 3-2 victory on Friday night.
Now in his 13th NHL season, the 39-year-old also became the oldest goaltender to record a victory in Blue Jackets franchise history. His win broke the previous shared record held by Curtis McElhinney, Sean Burke, and Ron Tugnutt.
