Darnell Nurse came out for post-game media after the San Jose Sharks’ 5-0 loss at the Dallas Stars on Monday…

San Jose Sharks defenseman Darnell Nurse spoke to the media about how strange it will feel to face the Edmonton Oilers for the first time since being traded over the summer. Nurse, drafted seventh overall by Edmonton in 2013, reflected on confronting his longtime club ahead of Saturday afternoon's matchup.
Nurse acknowledged the challenge of defending against Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and Evan Bouchard, noting that a full team effort is required. He shared that seeing the Oilers logo and trainer Brad Harrison on the opposing bench will feel unusual, but he emphasized that his family is fully settled in San Jose.
