The San Jose Sharks hope to have captain Macklin Celebrini back in the lineup when they host Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers in the first 2026-27 meeting between the division rivals on Saturday afternoon.
The San Jose Sharks hope to regain captain Macklin Celebrini for Saturday afternoon's matchup against the Edmonton Oilers. Celebrini, 20, is listed as day-to-day after missing a two-game road trip due to a lower-body injury. San Jose enters the contest having split that road trip, which concluded with a 3-2 overtime win against the St. Louis Blues.
The visiting Oilers enter the division matchup riding a three-game winning streak following a 5-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. Edmonton overcame an early two-goal deficit behind a goal and two assists from Connor McDavid, two goals from Evan Bouchard, and four assists from Leon Draisaitl.
