The Washington Commanders are getting a major boost as quarterback Jayden Daniels has been cleared to return to the field for Sunday’s matchup against the New York Giants.
Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has been cleared to play and will start Sunday against the New York Giants. Head coach Dan Quinn confirmed the news on Friday after Daniels missed two games due to a dislocated left elbow sustained in Week 2.
Daniels practiced fully leading up to the game and is expected to wear a protective brace on his non-throwing arm. His return comes as the 1-3 Commanders look to rebound in NFC East play against the 3-1 Giants.
