Bayer Leverkusen forward Christian Kofane is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering an injury on international duty. The Bundesliga club confirmed on Thursday that the striker sustained a thigh issue while away with the Cameroon national team.
The 20-year-old attacker is expected to be unavailable for selection in the coming weeks. Kofane has scored three goals in six appearances for Leverkusen, who travel to face Mainz on Saturday in their next Bundesliga match.
