Manuel Neuer admitted he made a "silly mistake" after his early blunder handed Augsburg an immediate advantage against Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer took responsibility for a costly early blunder after his team was held to a 2-2 draw by Augsburg. Just eight seconds into the match, Neuer miscontrolled a pass from Luis Díaz, allowing Robin Fellhauer to score the fastest goal in Bundesliga history.
Neuer labeled the incident a silly mistake, noting he should have made a better decision under pressure. While admitting fault for the opener, Neuer defended his actions regarding Augsburg's second goal scored by Rodrigo Ribeiro, stating Calvin Brackelmann's initial shot was too difficult to hold.
