Montreal Canadiens fans repeatedly chanted "We Want Larkin" during Saturday night's game against the Detroit Red Wings at the Bell Centre. Red Wings center Dylan Larkin received cheers during warmups and game action amid ongoing trade speculation, having previously requested a trade from Detroit and been stripped of his captaincy.
Larkin, who carries an $8.7 million annual cap hit through 2030-31, holds a full no-movement clause giving him final approval over any potential trade. The 30-year-old American forward recently returned to game action following early-season absences stemming from his fallout with the Red Wings organization.
