The Washington Commanders have executed several roster moves ahead of their home matchup against the New York Giants. Defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. was officially activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list to the 53-man roster following a quad injury. Additionally, the Commanders signed linebacker Austin Keys from the practice squad and elevated wide receiver Van Jefferson and safety Darren Hall for Sunday's game.
The roster adjustments come as Washington deals with extensive injuries, having previously listed 23 players on Wednesday's injury report. Six players have been ruled out, including Stefon Diggs and Charles Omenihu, while wide receiver Terry McLaurin remains questionable with a hamstring issue. Meanwhile, Trey Amos and Jeremy McNichols were not activated and remain on injured reserve.
