The Boston Celtics have announced their starting lineup for their preseason home opener against the Philadelphia 76ers. Boston will start Jayson Tatum, Paul George, Jordan Walsh, Derrick White, and Mitchell Robinson. With the roster nearly fully healthy, regular contributors Neemias Queta and Payton Pritchard will move to bench roles alongside wings Baylor Scheierman, Hugo Gonzalez, and Sam Hauser.
The game marks a return for several key Celtics who sat out the preseason opener against Cleveland. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers will be missing several notable players, including LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Adem Bona, and Anfernee Simons.
