CLEVELAND – The celebration at Progressive Field rightfully lasted into the early hours of Sunday morning for the Guardians after knocking off the White Sox, 2-0, in Game 5 of the American League Division Series. But the turnaround will be…

The Cleveland Guardians are set to face the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series on Monday night at Tropicana Field. Cleveland advanced after rallying from an 0-2 deficit to defeat the White Sox 2-0 in Game 5 of the ALDS, while the AL-best Rays swept the New York Yankees in three games.
Tampa Bay dominated the regular-season series 5-1 against Cleveland and will start a fully rested Drew Rasmussen in Game 1. Due to pitching depth constraints after playing five games, Cleveland may start Foster Griffin, relying heavily on José Ramírez, Steven Kwan, and Jo Adell to counter the Rays' potent lineup featuring Junior Caminero.
