Top club confident of agreeing deal with JJ Gabriel as Man United wonderkid nears final decision

Real Madrid are confident of securing a deal to sign Manchester United academy winger JJ Gabriel, according to a report by José Félix Díaz via Diario AS. The Spanish giants are reportedly awaiting a final decision from the 16-year-old talent, who previously requested the cancellation of his registration with the Red Devils and is being tracked by several elite European clubs.

Manchester United have made Gabriel a formal scholarship contract offer to protect their position and ensure any Premier League suitor must negotiate a fee or face a tribunal. However, the youngster reportedly favors a permanent move abroad to mainland Europe, where cross-border compensation fees would be substantially lower.
