New Orleans Pelicans guard Dejounte Murray did not participate in Saturday's practice as he continues to deal with a toe contusion. Head coach Jamahl Mosley confirmed the team is taking a cautious approach with the guard as training camp progresses. Murray previously played in the preseason opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder before sitting out Thursday's game against the Miami Heat.
Mosley stated that the team will keep evaluating Murray's response to treatment before determining his status for regular-season action. Murray has appeared in 45 total games across the past two seasons due to injuries, averaging 17.2 points, 7.0 assists, and 6.1 rebounds.
