The New Jersey Devils announced roster moves on Monday, placing forward Connor Brown on injured reserve and recalling forward Stefan Noesen from the AHL's Utica Comets. Brown's injured reserve placement is retroactive to September 28 after he suffered a lower-body injury in practice that kept him out of the team's first two regular-season games. Head coach Sheldon Keefe previously indicated the injury was not expected to be significant, though no official timeline has been set for Brown's return.
Noesen returns to the NHL roster just three days after clearing waivers and being assigned to Utica on October 9. The veteran winger played in New Jersey's first two games of the season and provides experienced depth following an injury-shortened 2025-26 campaign.
