Crew members were chosen for their demonstration of objectivity, fairness, and commitment as officials

The Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) have announced the September high school football officiating Crew of the Month. The honored crew consists of referee Josh Gould, umpire Shannon Rysewyk, back judge Gerald Lang, head linesman Jeason Thomas, and line judge Ben Leibl. The officials were selected for showing objectivity, fairness, and commitment.
This recognition is part of an initiative between the NFL and NFHS to honor officials across the country. Crews are recognized each month through November, leading to the selection of a Wisconsin Crew of the Year and eligibility for national honors.
