The Philadelphia Flyers announced several roster adjustments on Monday, recalling forward Jack Studnicka from the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms. In corresponding moves, the club loaned forward Carl Grundstrom to Lehigh Valley and placed defenseman Helge Grans on waivers.
Grundstrom was sent down after going scoreless with five shots in five games, having previously cleared waivers during training camp. Studnicka joins the NHL roster with 16 points in 126 career games, while writer Ryan Gilbert characterized the depth swaps as minor adjustments following Philadelphia's poor start to the season.
