The San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser has urged the San Francisco Giants to target San Diego Padres left-handed reliever Adrian Morejon in free agency. Following a disappointing 65-97 season in 2026, the Giants enter the offseason in need of bullpen reinforcements after posting a 4.25 ERA and suffering 26 blown saves under President of Baseball Operations Buster Posey.
Slusser highlighted Morejon's strong track record at Oracle Park and his effectiveness against San Francisco as key factors for a potential pursuit. The 27-year-old former All-Star delivered a 9-3 record with a 2.83 ERA serving as the set-up man for Mason Miller in 2026, making him one of the premier relievers on the open market.
