NEWS: Wallabies superstar Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii wants Mark Nawaqanitawase on the spring tour and is welcoming the selection threat his fellow code-hopper will pose on his return to rugby.

Wallabies back Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii has publicly welcomed the return of Mark Nawaqanitawase to rugby, stating he hopes head coach Les Kiss includes him on the upcoming spring tour. Suaalii dismissed concerns over competition for his own backline position, insisting the addition of code-hoppers Nawaqanitawase and Angus Crichton will bolster Australia's preparations ahead of next year's Rugby World Cup.
Nawaqanitawase recently completed a two-season NRL stint by scoring two tries in the Sydney Roosters' 19-18 grand final victory over Newcastle. Although Nawaqanitawase is contracted to join Japanese side Saitama Wild Knights and previously planned to take a break before relocating, Kiss intends to speak with him regarding an immediate Wallabies recall.
