The New Orleans Pelicans have officially listed Jordan Dumars as an executive advisor in their front office directory. Jordan Dumars is the son of Joe Dumars, the team's executive vice president of basketball operations. The formal listing marks a change from the previous season, when he was not included in the official staff directory and worked as an unannounced basketball operations consultant.
According to reporting from Shamit Dua of In The NO, Jordan Dumars had already entered the Pelicans' inner management circle last November. In the team's current basketball operations hierarchy, he is listed alongside executive vice president Joe Dumars and senior vice president Troy Weaver.
