After the franchise moved on from Jonathan Greenard, Turner took over the starting role and recorded 5.5 sacks, 29 pressures, and 14 quarterback hits across his first four games.

Schwerzler notes that Turner is mounting a strong campaign to potentially become the first Vikings player to win Defensive Player of the Year since Alan Page in 1971.
