Bizarre new double blow hands Mikel Arteta fresh selection dilemma
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta faces selection issues ahead of Tuesday's Champions League match against Lille at Emirates Stadium. Piero Hincapie and Martin Zubimendi have both been ruled out after sustaining ankle injuries during a training session following Arsenal's victory over Leeds. Arteta confirmed both players will miss the fixture and have been sent for further medical scans to determine the severity.
With Hincapie sidelined, Myles Lewis-Skelly could feature at left-back, while Mikel Merino is an option to enter midfield. Attackers Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres are also in contention for starting roles. Arsenal aim to secure their second European victory after opening the league phase with a 1-0 away win against Napoli.
