He has seemingly caught the bug after first competing a couple of years ago

Former England rugby star Phil Vickery stunned former teammates after showcasing his dramatic physical transformation during a bodybuilding event in Hull. The World Cup winner and former British Lion shared stage photos on social media following a competition with PCA Official, drawing impressed reactions from ex-colleagues Matt Dawson, Lewis Moody, and James Haskell.
Vickery explained that weightlifting and bodybuilding have significantly aided his mental and physical health following his probable chronic traumatic encephalopathy diagnosis. Having previously medaled at the 2024 UK Ultimate Physiques British Open Championships, he credited the discipline and his coach, Dave Campbell, for supporting his ongoing journey.
